LittPark is a strategy consultancy specializing in Sustainability and ESG roadmaps, program design, integration and employee learning. We offer a full suite of services to help bring about true and lasting value.

STRATEGY + ROADMAPS

Our most common request is for a Sustainability Roadmap that both Board members and Management can endorse. We work with senior leaders to uncover the organizational context of Sustainability, reviewing current business strategies, risk management profiles, governance practices, data collection and reporting, and stakeholders to establish the appropriate framework for your organization’s cross-functional Sustainability practices. With an understanding of the resources and investments available, we develop a strategic framework showing a year-over-year progression with relevant performance indicators for all stakeholders.

TRAINING + CAPACITY BUILDING

The most overlooked success factor in executing Sustainability and ESG is upskilling your employees on the topic. Our workshops and courses are designed to increase the capacity of your employees for immediate application to their business function or to the enterprise adoption of a Sustainability or ESG program. We take your team through current methodologies that support your organization’s requirements for responsible investment, policy and regulatory mandates, ESG Governance, reporting standards and stakeholder engagement.

MATERIALITY ASSESSMENTS

Value creation for Sustainability and ESG is grounded with the completion of a Materiality Assessment. In this fundamental step, we define an execution plan for the identification of the material Environmental and Social topics most relevant to the performance of your business and for your stakeholders. Using proven methodologies, we prioritize your material topics for application to your strategies and risk profile, supporting your organizations short- and long-term plans for growth and performance.

BENCHMARKING

Knowing your Sustainability performance in relation to your sector, or amongst Canadian and global peers, helps to orient your organization’s response. We evaluate the existing outcomes of your peers, providing a comparison on relevant ESG practices such as ratings, reporting and disclosures, key performance indicators on specific ESG Topics, and Governance and policy.

REPORTING + DISCLOSURES

The annual cycle of ESG reporting is best executed when key performance indicators and data collection processes match the most common reporting standards such as ISSB and GRI. We support your team to uncover your organization’s ESG indicators suited for these disclosures and align them with the reporting needs of your stakeholders.

CONTRACT LEADERSHIP

Small- and medium-sized businesses often do not have the resources for Sustainability and ESG oversight. As experienced leaders in program design and implementation, we bring the hands-on support required for Sustainability and ESG early adopters and to those requiring short-term solutions for program expansion or transition.

Our Origin

In the White Mountains of New Hampshire is the town of Littleton. It’s a place of fiercely creative entrepreneurs, organic farms, co-ops, craft breweries, coffee roasters, interior designers and others. The town’s combined value, beyond net products and services, famously makes Littleton a more powerful entity able to withstand economic and environmental challenges that lesser communities can’t.

Founder Karen Malone has long visited and been inspired by the bootstrapping self-reliance of Littleton, and so chose to name the first half of LittPark after it. The second part of this portmanteau comes from Rose Park Drive in Toronto, where she grew up and was also inspired by her similarly inclined friends and neighbours.

LittPark founder Karen Malone has 15+ years of sustainability and social impact experience. She works with leaders inspired to run sustainable operations that deliver growth and economic value — and meet the needs of an ever-more sustainability-conscious population.

Karen is an experienced trainer and facilitator and has expanded sustainability knowhow for 400+ executives in 25+ industries.

Karen is a lead trainer for the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence’s Sustainability Practitioner Certification and the GRI Certification.

Karen is also a regular speaker, energizing audiences (both in-person and remote) through a range of talks that invite participants to imagine the future of business. To inquire about a speaking engagement, please contact us.
